Hello, I’m Smrti [s m r ih - tee]!

I'm a designer working at the intersection of research, systems thinking, and equity. Most of my work is in public sector and healthcare contexts, where design decisions affect people who don’t get to opt out.

Design has always been a powerful tool for me to address social challenges. My drive to design for equity and social justice comes from my personal journey, including growing up in a developing country and navigating life as a woman of color in the US.

When I'm not designing, I'm practicing Bharathanatyam, unwinding with yoga, or exploring somewhere new. And if you're wondering about the fun fact: I have a deep love for all things colorful, humorous, and edible. I once worked on an ice cream truck.
