Hello, I’m Smrti [s m r ih - tee]!
A designer inspired by diverse cultures, with experience in both fashion and research. With my Masters in Design and Business, I meld the creativity of design with solid business strategies, transforming insights into compelling solutions. I aim to synergize systems, participatory and behavioral design principles to design for social change.
I've always been drawn to the power of design as a tool for social change. My drive to design for equity and social justice is deeply rooted in my personal journey—from growing up in a developing country to navigating life as a woman of color in the US.
I'm always curious and love learning new things. I even tried coding a logo and other cool stuff using P5.js for this website.
When not designing, I'm usually practicing Bharathanatyam (an Indian classical dance form), unwinding with some yoga, or exploring the city.
A delightful fact about me is that I love all things colorful, humorous, and edible. In an interesting twist of my life's journey, I once found myself working in an ice cream truck!
